The teams that formed the initial projects either trained others and moved on to departments in the Television Center as the organization grew or returned to head office functions to work on other aspects of the TV projects.
TV1 Consultants
There were a number of teams from different disciplines involved in the design, development, construction and commissioning of the TV project. These were outside contractors to whom SABC personel would be seconded to for the duration of the project. In many cases these people became those who managed different aspects of the completed project.
